Paul Darby was born and raised in Wolverhampton, was raised in Wolverhampton. He was the physio fit Wolves team and held a number of physio responsibilities in several sports throughout the course of an excellent career, most notably with the Wolves from 1986 to 1995.
Graham Turner, the new manager, lured him to Molineux, and he was a key player in Wolves’ Fourth and Third Division championships as well as the Sherpa Van Trophy victory.

The Wolverhampton wanderer’s physio Paul Darby passed away on Tuesday morning following a brief illness.

He was married to Carol Darby. They had been together for more than a decade according to reports.

Wolverhampton based physiotherapist, Paul died surviving his two children, Hannah and Mark.

According to the obituary notice published by the family, his funeral arrangements will take place in Telford crematorium on July 15, 2022.
In a tribute post, his sister Gail said,
“He always had to be working or doing something. When he was poorly that was one of the big things he struggled to come to terms with, that he struggled to do those things.”
